
Overview of Classes Offered
All of our workshops are taught by our instructors who have years of experience on stage and in the classroom. Their goal is to teach you basic improv skills, create a supportive and inclusive environment, and make sure you have a good time.
The Free Drop-In
The Free Drop-In is a fun, low-cost, low-pressure way to get up on your feet, learn some improv basics, and play ComedySportz-style improv games. No experience is required.
This class is held 2-4x monthly. It is 90 minutes long. Learn more here.
Level 1A: Introduction to Improv
In this 8-week course, you'll learn the fundamentals of improv. Experience is not necessary (although certainly welcome); our classes feature a level and nurturing playing field.
This workshop runs 4-5x/year. Each class is 2 hours long, meets weekly, and ends with a showcase for friends and family. See all dates and learn more here.
Level 1B: Skills to Scenes
Level 1B: Skills to Scenes directly follows Level1A. Whether you are working to be a well-rounded performer or just can't get enough improv - Level 1B is a great next step for improv students who know that practice is where it’s at.
Level 2A: Scene Work Development
Level 2A directly follows Level1B. Students will deepen their improv skills to continue developing the fundamentals of scene work, culminating in a class performance.
Level 2B: Advancing Scene Work into Long Form Formats
Level 2B directly follows Level 2A. Students will deepen their scene work skills to delve into long form formats, culminating in a class performance.
Improv For Anxiety
A 5-week course taught by Sarah Filman! You'll play, laugh, and learn new creative strategies and communication skills in a nurturing environment with others who identify with experiencing anxiety in their lives.
