Riot Improv has been entertaining audiences in the Boston area for over 15 years. On First Saturdays of each month come catch a rotating variety of formats presented by this dynamic group.
Winter / Spring 2025 schedule:
February 1: Riot Improv presents Wrong Answers Only: The Trivia Comedy Show
March 1: Songs to Scenes: Come see Riot Improv create comedy inspired by the songs of a local singer-songwriter.
April 5: Balderdash presented by Riot Improv: Come help us make up the definitions of obscure words watch us create hilarious improvised scenes inspired by them
May 3: Karaoke To Scenes: Come perform some of your favorite songs (or singing along with others performing theirs) and then watch Riot Improv create hilarious improv comedy inspired by those songs.
June 7: Artmondo presented by Riot Improv: Riot Improv Mainstage at the Rozzie Sq. Theater performs a comedy show entirely made up on the spot inspired by works of art.
Riot Improv: Stories to Scenes every 3rd Saturday of the month @ 8PM
On the 3rd Saturday of every month, Riot Improv collaborates with local storytellers in a unique mash-up to create hilarious improv comedy with a narrative twist! Riot Improv will create improv scenes inspired by real-life tales of humor, tragedy, love, and more, performed live.
About The Riot Theater Company
The Riot Theater Company is dedicated to presenting the best entertainment possible to the Boston area. The Riot Theater Company has been entertaining audiences in the Boston area in various forms since 2006. In 2010, they became a 501(c) 3 Non-Profit Organization, and in 2014 opened The Riot Theater in Jamaica Plain. In 2018, they moved, along with CSz Boston, to the Rozzie Square Theater, where they currently reside.
